HOW WE ARE SAFEGUARDING YOUR SHOPPING & DINING EXPERIENCE:

  • We are requiring face coverings upon entry for everyone over 2 years of age.
  • Additionally, our housekeeping team has increased the frequency of sterilization procedures using CDC-recommended products, with an amplified focus on all high-volume touchpoints such as restrooms, dining areas, escalators, elevators, entrance doors, and handrails.
  • Have you noticed more hand sanitizer stations? The center has installed additional sanitization stations for public use at all entrances, in highly-trafficked areas, in the Food Court and restrooms.
  • We have added social distancing signage and floor demarcations throughout the Center.
  • Another change is one you won’t see – it’s in the ceilings and on the roof! We’ve increased the frequency of outside air cycling in the Center’s HVAC units (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems).
  • And finally, all the center’s Management, Housekeeping, and Security employees will be wearing face coverings in accordance with the state mandates and CDC recommendations. Thank you for following these mandates along with us!

CDC RECOMMENDATIONS:

Amid the global spread of the communicable virus, public health officials from the CDC urges everyone to practice healthy habits including:

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others.
    • You could spread COVID-19 to others even if you do not feel sick.
    • Everyone should wear a cloth face cover when they have to go out in public, for example to the grocery store or to pick up other necessities.
    • Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
    • The cloth face cover is meant to protect other people in case you are infected.
  • Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others. The cloth face cover is not a substitute for social distancing.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home from work if you are feeling sick.
  • Make accommodations for your employees to stay/work from home if they or their children are affected.

By following the above protocols, we can all work together to maintain a healthy shopping center environment for our community.

We will continue to monitor the data and recommendations from CDC, WHO (World Health Organization) and ICSC, and update our practices as needed.
